My name is Angie Hall and I have been training dogs for over 15 years. I have extensive experience training numerous breeds of dogs of all ages. Most of all, I believe that it is important to build a lifelong bond with your dog through obedience training. My training methods instill confidence and tolerance which I believe is just as important as teaching obedience skills. I also use positive reinforcement to teach dogs to respond out of love and understanding, never fear.   I previously served as the Therapy Dog Program Director and Head Trainer for another local organization for 11 years and I am beginning my third year as Executive Director and Head Trainer at Legacy! I am also an approved evaluator for the American Kennel Club. How did I get into training dogs? I've had dogs my entire life, but 2013, I started training with my therapy dog Mater. After completing our training, we passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test and began making therapy dog visits throughout the Quad Cities. Mater and I attended over 600 therapy dog visits throughout the QCA in Mater’s time with us. I also did over 600 visits with her Therapy Dog Oliver to various places in the Quad Cities. Sadly Mater crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022 and Oliver in 2024; but I love continuing Mater and Oliver's legacy by visiting schools, libraries, and special events with my current Therapy Dogs, Sully, and Mr. Mo and Jack.

Hi There, My name is Alina. I have had a love of dogs since I was very little (I guess I get that from my mom Angie) I started training dogs in 2013 as part of a 4H project. I then moved on to helping train facility dogs to work in schools, and then eventually I trained service dogs throughout my High School Career. While attending Augustana College for 4 years I also volunteered my time as an assistant trainer, training household pets and therapy dogs. I am also an approved evaluator for the American Kennel Club.  I believe training dogs is not just teaching them commands, it's about understanding the individual needs of each dog and helping them build their confidence and a bond with their owner that will last the lifetime of the dog.  Since 2013 I have attended hundreds of therapy dog visits throughout the QCA with numerous therapy dogs. I graduated Augustana in 2023 and I currently volunteer my time helping train pets and therapy dogs and I am entering my third year as assistant trainer, assistant executive director and marketing director for Legacy. I also love attending therapy dog visits, you’re likely to see me at a local event with Therapy Dog Chase, Sully, Mo or Jack.
